Triangle of Exposure Definitions

Aperture: an opening, whole, or gap, that light passes through.

Shutter Speed: the amount of time that a shutter is open at a given setting.

ISO: an optical disc composed of the data contents of every written sector of an optical disc, including the optical disc file system.

Depth of Field: the distance between the nearest and the furthest objects that give an image judged to be in focus in a camera.


Motion Blur: he apparent streaking of rapidly moving objects in a still image.


Noise and Light Sensitivity: the measure of a photographic film sensitivity to light,. A closely related ISO system is used to measure the sensitivity of digital imaging systems.
