Aperture: an opening, whole, or gap, that light passes through.
Shutter Speed: the amount of time that a shutter is open at a given setting.
ISO: an optical disc composed of the data contents of every written sector of an optical disc, including the optical disc file system.
Depth of Field: the distance between the nearest and the furthest objects that give an image judged to be in focus in a camera.
Motion Blur: he apparent streaking of rapidly moving objects in a still image.
Noise and Light Sensitivity: the measure of a photographic film sensitivity to light,. A closely related ISO system is used to measure the sensitivity of digital imaging systems.

Higher Megapixels
Memory cards are small
Easy to download to computer
You can see the pictures right away
You can easily edit your pictures
Cons:
Cameras are expensive
You can lose detail in black and white pictures

You need a computer to get the full usage
Settings may be hard to figure out on the camera

Pros:
Lower cost than a digital camera
More forgiving for small focusing issues
More forgiving on exposure problems
Better quality in black and white pictures
